During this course your child will learn to create an environment of exploration of musical theatre through acting\, movement and song. Students will write their own story with Alicia’s guidance. They will help with the creation of props\, small costume pieces and design a backdrop. This camp will end with a performance on Friday. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that Colorado Music Institute is now offering String Ensemble classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Violin\, Viola\, Cello and String Bass students are welcome to participate.  The only requirement is that students be able to play in the keys of D and G major with quarter notes\, eighth notes and half notes.  Other musical skills will be explored in the ensemble class beyond these basic requirements.  These will include listening skills\, new bowing techniques and learning to watch a conductor.  So many of the skills that are learned in ensemble are difficult to teach in private lessons\, therefore being part of an ensemble is a great complement to private lessons.  Dr. William Hinkie will be directing the ensemble.
