I’ve been teaching music lessons (and instructing drumlines) since 2012. Picking up piano and guitar in elementary school eventually led to full-time gigging/touring the Southeast on drums and bass guitar. My teaching style involves helping students get comfortable and confident enough with their instrument to help them discover their own sound; this includes being able to look up and listen in to react to everything that happens in a dynamic live performance. Although I have a fundamentals lesson plan for each instrument, every individual student’s curriculum is soon tailored to what music/learning styles inspire them and keep them engaged in music. There’s something for everyone! Before moving to Denver in 2026, I held multiple weekly residencies in Orlando in-between touring in an Allman Brothers revue. Among others, I’ve opened for The Aristocats, George Porter Jr., Rick Derringer, John Mayall, Devon Allman, Doug E Fresh, C&C Music Factory, Yellowman, and Spafford.
