Just show up and play in your own band – with your gig performing at the end of a busy week of preps!!
CMI’s Rock Sessions are like band camp on steroids! The sessions last for one week and offer musicians of all ages a chance to play in a band and perform live on-stage. Each musician gets placed with a band carefully selected by our professional musician/instructors to match his/her experience and instrument. Then, for two hours each day (Noon – 2pm M-F), our staff of professionals works with each ensemble in a fully equipped professional music studio. After perfecting their show(s), the bands take to the stage and perform live at a popular local venue – in a real club-setting (Soiled Dove Underground) in front of a live audience (6 pm Sunday afternoon).
