Beda is a public school music educator and performer from Annapolis, Maryland. She studied Music Education at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, where she specialized in choral music and completed her performance certificate in classical piano. She received a Certificate of Higher Education in music at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom.
Beda has performed in the Cardiff University Symphony Chorus and Gamelan Percussion Ensemble, as well as the Shenandoah Conservatory Pit Orchestra and Shenandoah Chorus. She has also performed professionally with Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre and the Children’s Theatre of Annapolis Pit Orchestra.
As an accompanist, performer, and teacher, Beda works with a wide variety of musical genres. Her teaching philosophy centers on music literacy as a tool for fostering joyful, empowered, and independent musicianship.
