Project Description
CARIN P
Carin is a music teacher with over 30 years of experience, specializing in vocals and piano. Growing up between Colorado, California and Nebraska, her interest in singing and songwriting began at age thirteen. She then majored in vocal performance and went on to receive vocal certification in Diaphragmatic Costal Breathing from Juilliard alumnus, Scott L. Martin, PhD, at the Denver Academy of the Arts. Carin started her teaching practice in 1992, and has spent her career coaching students of all ages – guiding them in their musical journeys.
Carin has also written and recorded her own music and is inspired by artists such as Carole King, The Eagles and Amy Grant. She enjoys a wide range of genres, particularly folk and classical music. When she’s not singing or teaching, Carin spends her time creating collage art, reading, and watching old films or favorite TV shows. Her most cherished times are spent visiting her two children who live in New York and London.
