HALA H
Hey! My name is Hala H. I am a 23-year-old local artist, studying Singer/Songwriting at CU Denver, and teaching on the weekends. When I’m not teaching or in class, you can catch me gigging around Colorado and recording my album. I remember writing my first song at age 7 in my butterfly notebook, moving from LA to Colorado Springs. While music can be an effective escape, it’s a remarkable tool to process, feel, express, and validate emotion. I teach guitar, ukulele, and piano, but I spend most of my time singing. By the age of 10, I was a finalist in a state-wide vocal competition. Thanks to keeping my childhood dreams alive, I was recently asked by CU Denver to open for international pop-star, Rebecca Black. I am passionate about teaching students of all ages how to embolden their voices, strengthen confidence, nurture creativity, and to improve technically. With me as your teacher, I can promise a supportive environment to do all the things you are scared to try.
