IGNACIO B
Born and raised in Venezuela, Ignacio is a pianist with a passion for music, performing, teaching and arranging. Classically trained, he graduated the National Conservatory of Music Juan Jose Landaeta as a piano performer in 2018, and after earning an Artistic Excellence Scholarship to study in Universidad Metropolitana, he was the lead pianist for the university’s chamber music ensemble Musicum between 2014 and 2020.
Following a couple of viral internet performances in 2020, shared on Twitter by the likes of Danny Ocean and Lasso, Ignacio became the piano teacher for the 2021 and 2022 Interschool Gaitas teams of Institutos Educacionales Asociados (El Peñón), the latter of which won the prize for Best Piano at the XVII San Ignacio Interschool Gaitas Festival.
In 2022 not only did he become a private piano teacher, but he also started releasing his own music on streaming platforms under the artistic name ibpiano, with more releases soon to come.
