I’ve lived in Denver my entire life and first picked up the guitar in 2018. Since then it has consumed my life and inspired me to pursue a career in music. The joy composing my own songs brings me is unlike anything else I’ve ever felt and is something I wish to impart on my students. My main influences come from genres like metal, classic rock and electronic. I am currently working on my debut guitar Instrumental album and have recently joined a band in the Denver area.

When teaching I strive to provide an engaging learning experience tailored towards each students specific goals. Whether thats learning their favorite songs or composing their own I will provide lessons that are informative and useful, but most of all fun! I think building fun lessons is the most important thing a guitar teacher can do, especially for beginners.

A large part of my teaching style revolves around emphasizing the emotions or feelings a given chord, scale, or technique creates and then building lessons based on which emotion or feeling the student gravitates to the most. This way students can build more of a connection to the sounds they’re able to create with the instrument. I want students to leave each lesson not only feeling like they learned something new about the guitar but that they also learned something new about themselves as a creative person.
