JOHN K

John is a professional musician and currently is Principal Trumpet with Colorado Ballet and Associate Principal Trumpet with Symphony San Jose.  He has held numerous other positions including Principal with Central City Opera, Boulder Philharmonic, Boulder Chamber Orchestra and 18 seasons as Principal Trumpet with California Symphony.  In addition he has worked extensively with San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Symphony including national tours and commercially released recordings.  He is very active as an educator with a large studio teaching all brass instruments and taught 5th and 6th grade band in the Los Altos, California school system for 9 years.
