KATHRYN F
Throughout her childhood, Kathryn studied music through honors women’s choir, musical theater, piano lessons, and voice lessons. She loves many genres of music and believes musicians benefit from diverse musical interests and exposure to different styles. Some of her musical influences include, but aren’t limited to; Florence & The Machine, Paramore, Journey, Incubus, and No Doubt.
In her undergraduate career, Kathryn studied jazz guitar, bass guitar, and was a member of various experimental music ensembles, rock bands, punk bands, and choirs. She graduated from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta with a BS in Mass Communications and a BA in Music Industry. After graduating from college, Kathryn moved to Colorado in 2019 where she continued her passion for music and found her love of teaching. Since moving to Colorado, she has performed in many bands, venues, and music festivals across Denver. With her diverse musical background, we are glad to have her as a member of our team.
