Keith is an operatic Bass-baritone native to Kansas City, Missouri. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (2018) and Florida State University (2020), Keith has a wide musical background and a rich singing voice. His singing career began with winning the 2014 KC Superstar competition and appearing on Season 10 of America’s Got Talent. In 2021, he was selected at a Studio Artist with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City and in 2022 he was selected as an Artist in Residence with Opera Colorado. He is the recipient of an Encouragement Award from the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition and the Barbara and Stanley Richman Memorial Award from OTSL. His most recent engagements include the role of Dr. Podsnap in Tobias Picker’s Awakenings, making his role debut as Sparafucile for Opera Colorado, and singing as a Gerdine Young Artist with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. As a Studio Artist with Florida Grand Opera for their 2023/2024 season, Keith will be making his first appearances as Colline in La Boheme and Dr. Grenvil in La Traviata.

As a teacher, Keith encourages everyone to find joy in singing. Through vocal training and musical interpretation, Keith believes strongly that anyone can sing. His opera-based pedagogy is not just for those looking to excel in classical voice, but can be applied to voices of all styles, shapes, and sizes. Keith has experience teaching jazz, pop, R&B, and musical theatre as well as self accompaniment on the piano. He hopes to see you soon for a lesson!
