LEZANE D
Lezane D. is an experienced music educator specializing in voice, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, songwriting, and music theory. She earned her Bachelor’s in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music, with concentrations in Voice Performance, Songwriting & Composition, and a minor in Drama. Her diverse performance career includes appearances at renowned venues such as Dizzy’s Club Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York Town Hall, The Bitter End, and countless other venues in NYC & Boston. Lezane has also taught private lessons, directed youth performances, and served as a voice coach for various programs, including Columbia University Teachers College & their Jazz Improv Camp. Her original music is available on all streaming platforms. Additionally, she began Stage Managing Off-Broadway at 15, wrote an original musical, wrote & published a screenplay, and wrote & published a book, “Vocal Mastery: A Guide to Proper Vocal Technique for All Ages”, available on all e-book platforms.
Outside of music, Lezane enjoys hobbies such as swimming, archery, weight-lifting, hiking, painting, and her dogs. She is passionate about connecting with her students through the universal language of music, sharing in their growth and creativity.
