Meet MiaBella, a versatile and accomplished musician with a passion for piano, guitar, and voice. With expertise in both classical and popular styles, Mia is a sought after private music teacher and performer nearing sixteen years of experience. Her experience playing in bands and serving as a music director highlights her deep musical knowledge and leadership abilities.
Having been inspired by her seventh grade choir teacher, she knows the invaluable influence of music and positive mentorship in the lives of students.
Mia structures each lesson with technique essentials, improvisation, lesson book/repertoire review, music theory, and time for cultivating their own taste in music and understanding of music history. She loves encouraging her students to create their own chord progressions, riffs, melodies, solos, and lyrics and believes in creating original music.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music with an emphasis on vocal performance from Snow College. There, she expanded her experience in music production, songwriting, music education & pedagogy. Having had a diverse musical curriculum, she played the lead in musical theatre productions and operas. She enjoyed comping/singing for jazz combos, as well as playing in the college’s party band where she was hired to play for private events. She continues to pursue songwriting and music education.
