MORGAN G
Morgan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Voice from the University of Nebraska, where she studied opera and vocal pedagogy under Dr. Sharon Campbell. During her undergraduate career, she was awarded a research fellowship and focused her work on the intersection of music and language acquisition. Her project, Finding Connections Between Music and Language Learning, was presented at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in 2015.
Outside of research, Morgan is passionate about creating a fun and inviting learning environment that instills a love of music in students of all ages. She has previously worked with Omaha Area Youth Orchestras and Kearney High School Show Choir, and enjoys watching students grow as musicians. She has taught beginning piano for a number of years and has also played clarinet for over 15 years.
Morgan has a seven year old son and two dogs that keep her busy! She enjoys playing music with her family, hiking, and watching football and volleyball.
