I started taking voice lessons when I was 10 years old and was classically trained in voice up until I was 18. During this time, I attended many singing competitions and master classes. Besides singing, I also learned to play piano.
I started studying at Colorado Mesa University in 2020, where I discovered my love for broadway, commercial, and jazz music. I graduated with a Music Education degree in 2024 with a vocal concentration. During my time at CMU, I sang in vocal arts ensemble, jazz ensemble, commercial ensemble, and vocal cords ensemble. I also enjoy performing live as a vocalist.
I have 5 years of experience working with preschool and elementary age students. I can work with students on a variety of musical genres such as pop, classical, and broadway. My teaching philosophy centers around providing an engaging and inclusive environment. My goal as a private instructor is to help students develop strong, healthy vocal techniques while encouraging their individual creativity and confidence. Outside of music, I enjoy reading and going on hikes.
