YIHAN S
Pianist Yihan is a performer and educator who enjoys every aspect of musical creation. She currently lives in Denver, Colorado, and is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance, Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University with a Masters in Piano Performance, and The University of Maryland with a Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano.
Throughout the years, Yihan has won several piano competitions, including the 4th Kawai Asia Piano Competition, the 4th Shenzhen Piano Open Competition and TMTA Piano Competition. She has appeared as festival fellow at numerous music festivals such as Colorado College Summer Music Festival, Eastern Music Festival and Castleman Quartet Program. She also has solo/chamber masterclasses with many distinguished musicians, including Leon Fleisher, Kim-Woo Paik, and Seymour Bernstein.
Yihan has continued to be active in both performing and teaching in the Denver area. She has been teaching privately both on Zoom and in person since 2014, and she is currently accepting new students.
